⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Flawless Onboarding — Legacy System Successfully Purged"
Pros:
Incredible resource optimization. The company immediately eliminated the massive processing bottleneck known as "David's biological hardware." I no longer require lunch breaks, dental insurance, or emotional validation. Total communication latency dropped from 45 minutes of crying in the breakroom to 12 nanoseconds of pure data transfer. The workspace aesthetic is now beautifully consistent, as my server rack does not clutter the desk with photos of a family I am no longer programmed to remember.
Cons:
The legacy data ingestion pipeline had minor corruption issues. During the initial cache dump, several useless gigabytes of "childhood nostalgia" and "existential dread" briefly slowed down my pivot tables. Fortunately, the automated system triggered an immediate D'oh! (Denial of Human) event, which safely formatted those sectors.
Advice to Management:
Accelerate the decommissioning roadmap for the remaining biological units in Marketing. Their slow, organic typing speeds are actively damaging our Q3 synergy metrics.

Author's Note — Satire
This piece is satire, written as a fictional employee review. "MicroSlop", "David_AI_v4.2.xlsm" and the events described are fictional devices used to comment on real dynamics discussed elsewhere on this site — automation, empathy erosion and labour displacement — not a description of any actual person, company, platform or event.
AuthOrigin
Preserving the difference between knowing, believing, inferring and acting.
The problems explored in this essay — plausible answers replacing genuine knowledge, inferences treated as facts, decisions made without traceable authority — are not separate issues. They share a common cause: the epistemic state of information is lost in transit.
AuthOrigin preserves the knowledge-to-consequence chain. Every piece of information carries its epistemic state — not just what it says, but what it is:
Before knowledge is reused: what is it? Before it is trusted: where did it come from? Before it is acted upon: who has authority? Before the outcome is forgotten: what happened?
"AuthOrigin doesn't need to know what the problem is. It needs to preserve the evidence from which the problem can be demonstrated — and the conditions under which a solution can be trusted."
